We have been here a number of times and the food is consistently amazing, especially the steak, but the chicken and seafood are also fantastic. Service is friendly, drinks especially the mojitos really good, deserts wow, and on the weekends, live music. The restaurant attracts families, couples, etc. of all ages. Just was there for Mother’s Day, and didn’t disappoint.

Amor Cubano is my go to place when I want delicious Cuban food. The churrosco is always delicious and the rice and beans are the perfect side dishes. The mojitos are refreshing and tasty. The prices are reasonable.

Always a great choice as the food is always good along with the live music. Stopped in for a quick bite before attending an event and the service was on point. We had the churrasco and a few appetizers all were great.

Delicious well seasoned food, good music and ambience . Con is the drinks are watered down and overpriced due to very little liquor. If we’re paying $13-$15 for a drink it should be loaded.

Food was mediocre, meat was over cooked in the 2 dishes we got. Vibe was more laid back, took awhile to get our food and the place was empty. Ambiance was okay.

It's a delightful Cuban restaurant with a fantastic ambience, delightful music, great food, and top-notch service. I was looking for a place for dinner and dancing, without the club atmosphere, and this place is an ideal match. The live band is fantastic and doesn't overpower the conversation, allowing for a great evening.

We had our Valentine’s dinner at the Amor Cubano. Immediately we knew we were going to have a fabulous evening. The atmosphere was very vibrant and warming with two Latina playing guitars and singing with warm drumming. We ordered two feature meals including drinks and desserts. They were delicious and very well complemented with everything else. We decided we will have to come back again soon.

A+. Everything was great. Happy hour til 6pm on a Friday was awesome. We had empanadas, tostones, paella and skirt steak. All of it we would order again! Mojitos were made properly with cane sugar. Yum!

We came on a night where a company rented the main area for their holiday party, so we couldn’t be apart of the night with live music. Regardless, I was looking forward to trying the Cuban food here as it was also my girlfriend’s first experience with Cuban cuisine. Needless to say, the food didn’t really meet expectations. I enjoyed the El Cuban sandwich though! We also got the Calamares Fritos, the Paella, and Tres Leeches. However, I had seen other reviews that complained about the service, but I’d say that the lady we had was super accommodating and made the effort to make our experience as comfortable as possible!!! My girlfriend wanted a virgin drink which wasn’t on the menu, but after talking with our waitress, they put something together for her that was SO REFRESHING!!

The food and service is excellent. The live band on weekends plays all types of Latin music and keeps the patrons drinking and dancing into the night. Well worth the visit.

Had a very good time. Food and music were good. Mentioned I was there for my 50th wedding anniversary. They gave me a flan(desert) and sang . Hoping I would get the desert for free but they charged me. Nice place to eat or have a drink.

Food was good, mostly the plantain chips and beef turnover. Service was outstanding. My server was welcoming, friendly, helpful and attentive. She made sure to accommodate my food aversions, which I am very thankful for.

Booked a table for Valentine’s Day. Arrived on time. They had no table for us. They wanted to put us in some back room that looked really gloomy and where you cannot see the band. There were tables for 4 open, asked them if they could give us one of these (they could have transformed them into two tables for 2). They refused saying they were booked. I guess some bookings have priority over others. We left for another restaurant. Glad I live in the neighborhood and hadn’t come from far to not get the table I had booked. Disappointing, I was looking forward to try the food which is supposed to be good.

First time trying out this location for a Valentine’s Day dinner for myself & my partner & we loved it ! Great food & portions for value, lovely drinks, unmatched ambiance & superb service. We asked to be seated in a more quiet area for intimacy & they provided perfectly without missing out of the overall ambiance. Staff was very friendly & helpful with recommendations. Would definitely be recommend & be returning !

Took my mother in law to her favorite place for dinner. Our group of 7 all enjoyed our meals and desserts. The band they had playing sang lots of great salsa and sang Happy Birthday.to my mother in law. Great little spot in Spanish Harlem.

It was very disappointing, the food was cold and didn’t have any taste it was very bland. And they allow dogs which I found unsanitary. Will not be going back.
