L’American Seasons est situé au coeur du quartier historique du centre-ville de Nantucket. Il est devenu au fil du temps un restaurant très populaire, connu pour sa conception créative de la cuisine contemporaine de saison, qui est réalisée dans le souci du détail. Le personnel est accueillant et à votre écoute. Le menu est basé principalement sur des ingrédients issus de l’agriculture locale, préparés avec le plus grand soin, puis présentés sur assiette dans un style très naturel. La carte des vins comprend plus de 500 crus produits aux Etats-Unis. Récompensée et acclamée à plusieurs occasions, elle est réputée dans tout le pays. We’ve been to 4 excellent restaurants in the North East the past 4 days. The food for the most part at American Seasons was good. The bread and butter, cocktails, Foie Gras and Salmon were all wonderful. The Cod was lacking flavor and the greens & shrimp that accompanied were way too sweet. The slow service is where the restaurant really fell short. I waited until the meal was over to share my thoughts regarding the service with the manager to make sure she was aware.

Service was terrible. Waited over 20 minutes to even be greeted with water. Restaurant is extremely understaffed. Only 2 waiters and they were running around all over the place bumping into my chair. Would not recommended.

We love American Seasons, the atmosphere, food and service is all wonderful. We were there on Saturday evening May 25th and it did take over 20 minutes for a server to be assigned to us. The host filled our water glasses after about a 10 minute wait. I'm guessing maybe they are understaffed--but everyone who works there is absolutely lovely. We just had to be patient but we will go back in the future.

Great food, great service, very nice setting. A slightly larger portion would have been nice, but that is my only gripe. Other than that, I would definitely recommend this restaurant to all my friends and family. =)

We’ve been here many times. Last night’s was probably the best meal I’ve ever had there. Salmon with bacon/apple compote— awesome! Service was a bit rushed (for no reason, as the floor was quite quiet), but overall great experience.
