We have been long time fans of Altobelli’s with great atmosphere with live music and wonderful food. The ownership has changed and the attendance seemed low for a Friday before Mother’s Day. But we enjoyed it and food and service as well as entertainment was as good as usual.

Biggest disappoint was they uncharged for Caesar salad which turned out to be same salad but a cup of Caesar instead of house. Different dressing only but additional $5.00? Not what I expected when I ordered it.

The best dining experience in a long time. Zeta, our server also sang. I could not believe the emotion, the fun, the friendliness with everyone there. Totally a supper club… loved everything about it. Had salmon.. cooked to perfection.

The vibe at this place is great and I enjoyed every minute. I stayed 2 and a half hours and did not want to leave.

The food was terrible. Cold, overcooked pasta. Undercooked veal in a glue-like marsala sauce. Salad that could have come from a bag at Publix. So expensive. Tired and dated decor.

Our entrees were excellent. The salad was minimal. The rolls were delicious, but there were not enough and we had to ask for more.

It was a very bad experience, we sat for two hours and the food never arrived, we had guests and we had spoken very highly of the restaurant. We ended up at Waffle House which was the only thing open when they told us that they were not going to serve our food. We couldn't see why they hadn't treated us so badly, they passed us the bill and we had to pay for such a bad experience, the manager never showed his face, neither did the owners, we hope you read this so you never go to this restaurant

Valentine Day dinner with my wife was a fiasco - can't honestly rate my meal since after 2 hours of waiting for the food to come out we left. We have had wonderful experiences at Altobeli's in the past but last night, on probably the busiest night of the year, they only had 2 cooks working and one left half way through meal service. The restaurant did not handle the situation appropriately and kept promising that the food would be out soon. All of us waiting for food should have been told what was going on and that it would be hours before everyone was served. That way, we may have been able to salvage some of our night. Instead, we got promises, a salad and rolls instead of a romantic dinner.

We waited over two hours and 10 minutes and never received our food. The chef got sick in the kitchen and walked out. He was evidently the only one to cook. The owner went back and tried to cook. They could not guarantee when our food will be ready, so four tables walked out. This was on Valentine’s Day celebration. They did not even top the salad or drinks. The service has been going down since the new owner purchased the restaurant. Needless to say, we will not be returning!

My wife and I celebrated her birthday at Altobeli’s on a Sunday evening and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The service, food and atmosphere was outstanding. The restaurant has live entertainment nightly and the entertainment was fantastic during our visit. Our vocalist and piano player were fun and engaging. Will certainly visit again soon!

We’ve been going to Altobeli’s for over 12 years and have always felt at home. As with any change, like an ownership one in this particular case, there are going to some kinks to work out, of course. We have been a few times and these “kinks” were prevalent, but it’s Altobeli’s…..so loyalty prevailed. Last night we decided to go for a few big celebrations, but unfortunately, we were disappointed again, sadly to say for probably the last time. We had a reservation, yet the table wasn’t set up. They were out of Filet and Crème Brûlée. They were short on menus and lastly, the food was mediocre at best. The Pollo Cristo…..which was once our favorite dish of all time, was watery and lacked flavor, the key lime pie was the smallest slice I’ve ever seen, and a simple dish like pasta with butter was underwhelming. There were, of course, some positives: Our waiter was extremely friendly! The Salmon A la Griglia was awesome The linguini with clams was delicious. The entertainment was great! Overall, because we have had such great experiences in the past, our expectations were so lofty, and maybe that’s unfair, but with so much competition in the restaurant space….the “new” Altobeli’s needs to step up their game if they’re to compete. We wish you all the luck getting back previous glory, but in the interim, we will seek places to dine elsewhere.

We love it so much. We brought friends & drove 100 miles & spent the night. The entertainment is the best. The dance floor was full. Always enjoy the Italian food. Service is outstanding.

Food and service was OUTSTANDING! Chad Bob introduced himself and our server Michael were simply FANTASTIC! Casey (the owner)was the singer and she was awesome! Simply outstanding experience!

Great 1st time here. Food was marvelous and made with love. I also was not expecting to meet the owner at the end of the night however, such sweet personality. You can tell everyone loves working here and is one team. Bonus points for being black woman owned! I love seeing our ethnicity excelling! The ambiance was perfect, great live music and just marvelous!! :) Will return again.

Reservation was for 6:30. The waiter did the best he could due to the fact that they were short staffed. It took 20+ minutes to get our drinks and our food came out an hour and a half after we ordered. The excuse was “ there was a mix-up in the kitchen.” We only had about 15 minutes to eat our food (I got a to-go box) before we would be charged $20 per person for the “New Years Eve”entertainment. We had to be out of the restaurant by 9pm or we would be charged. When the bill came they had charged us for 8 meals instead of 4. They said that they were “glad we caught it.” Not nearly as happy as we were! Overall a very disappointing experience. We won’t be back.

I love this place. We go there all the time but the restaurant made a mistake on n New Year’s Eve. They decided to shorten the menu and it cost them on the quality of the food. It was completely different and not really good. It also took forever to get bread and our drinks that night. I’m sure they’ll do better on regular nights but big mistake on New Year’s Eve.

Hadn’t been there in quite a while. Had a nice dinner. It was open singing at the piano bar and we were very impressed by the amateur singers. Meal was good … lasagna and salmon… would recommend either dish.

I had a first date there and she was blown away. Our server Mia was amazing!! Beautiful smile and attentive. I arrived early to secure a table and upon greeting they asked if there was a celebration or something special for that night. I replied "First date." They made the rest of the night so wonderful. The setting, ambiance, food and music is wonderful. The wait staff are amazing. My date was beautiful, enjoyed the pick of things to do and loved the music. She was singing many of the songs and smiled and laughed the whole time. Thank you Altobelis for a great night. I will be back!!

Been going here for years and use to be good. Went Christmas Eve and it was not crowded like years past. Service was very slow but waiter was very nice. Was guessing no help in the kitchen. The garlic rolls had no garlic and were small and hard! The salad was very basic and dressing tasted like oil only! Entree’s were good. Not sure we will be back.

Christmas Eve was our first and last time we’ll ever eat there. Arrived shortly after they opened, so the restaurant wasn’t busy yet. Our group was given one menu and told that others were printing and they’d provide us more. More never came. Received one small soup cup of tiny bread “nuggets” that were hard as a rock. Didn’t order any apps, but it still took an hour and 15 minutes to receive our entrees, and they were barely room temperature. I was so excited to try Altobeli’s, especially on Christmas Eve, and it was such a disappointment. :(

The atmosphere is always good. The music could be better for the holiday season, more engaging and more intimate. The food was ok, I forgot the name, mushrooms on spaghetti, overpriced and not hot, just warm. I like the wine. Tiramisu was good, but nothing special. I was with a friend, sitting in the piano booth area. We could hardly talk because of the table between us, and he facing the wall didn’t see much what was going behind him in the main area. I was sorry for him. The space between us and the next table was minimal. The service was good, but the waiter had hardly any space to approach both of us. I maybe mistake, but it seems there were more little tables for two with easy access from either side and better view, but now mostly big tables overtook the space. I still like Altobellis, but I think the place is declining.

We have been there twice now and each time we leave having had the best time. The authenticity of the environment is rare these days. The live pianist with the singers is such a lovely experience. The performers draw the crowd in making it feel like we are one big family. We had such a memorable time in our most recent visit!!

The service was poor, the waiter seemed inexperienced and the food took a very long time to be served. The clams appetizer was a terrible value - the clams were so small we could hardly eat them. This was not the restaurant’s fault but the man sitting at the table next to us was loud and using foul and vulgar language, and our teenage daughter was with us.
