I was disappointed that they didn’t do anything to recognize our anniversary and my husband’s birthday (which I noted on the Open Table reservation). My steak was undercooked and although it said it came with green beans on the menu, they were not on my plate. Just undercooked steak and potato wedges. My husband had the chicken and he said it was good. His mashed potatoes were good as well. But underwhelmed and prob won’t be back anytime soon.

Another great meal at Alta Eats, this time sharing the experience with visiting family. Fresh bread, ceasars, duck breast and rack of lamb plus apple tart and chocolate pot au crème, washed down by a nice pinot noir, for the win! And our server Marisol was a joy. A neigborhood treasure.

Ate here twice this week as I live out of town and enjoy their food that much. Great meals and service always. The prices are very reasonable and portions just enough. The chef also makes an effort to speak with customers, which is an indication he also appreciates his customers.

Food was perfection! Service was excellent. I always make it a point to eat at Alta when I am visiting. Favorites; Caesar salad, Bread and their mashed potatoes! Entrees always wonderful, of course.

We liked the flights & bites for Tuesday night. Paul and his servers were very attentive. The prime porterhouse was totally delicious along with the excellent little gem Caesar salad. What a great pair together. Can't wait for our next visit. Thank you for a great evening.

Another fine meal at Altaeats! Interesting wine selection, fantastic beef wellington, and accommodation for my vegetarian spouse. Great 70s music in the background. We'll be back!

What a hidden gem! There is no.sign outside so it does seem hidden but when you walk in you are warmly greeted by delicious smells and friendly staff. With only a seating capacity of just over 40 you will be delighted to find the food is fresh and absolutely mouth watering delectable! It is a treat to eat here and I will definitely be returning and recommending!!!

We had a great dinner, scallops on forbidden rice were great. Parking is a challenge. dropping off my sisters who do not walk and move well was tough.

Wonderful neighborhood gem! Stuffed dates, sautéed scallops and duck breast along with phenomenal wine pairings and attentive yet subtle service made for a great date night. We love the team at AltaEats!!

Beef Wellington was delicious! Scallops were very good, wish there were more than 3 on a plate. Rice and sauce with the scallops were very flavorful. Both the Apple Tart and the Chocolate Pot de Crème desserts were wonderful! Very pleasant service from everyone. Really nice place to eat. Very much a community feeling here. Loved it!

First and foremost the high reviews of this establishment are very over-exaggerated. The restaurant is very small and the tables are lumped together and it’s very tight. Seems like you are inches away from the couple seated next to you.The food is just average at best. What made our experience less than acceptable was the fact that the wine list is subpar and very limited and the service was terrible. Our server came by the table like an order taker at a fast food restaurant multiple times despite us telling him that this was our first time he didn’t make any recommendations for food or wine and was just trying to write down the order and get it sent to the kitchen. It’s a shame because this place seems like it could have tremendous potential if the managers would just wake up, get some real wine, and some experienced servers that know how to treat patrons. My wife and I will never return to this establishment again.

A wonderful local small restaurant with tentative service and very good food! From the fantastic bread & delicious olives to start to the wonderful Salmon and Scallops. The $ 15 corkage fee was very inexpensive. Everything was very nice and we would recommend this to everyone. Enjoy!

It was all so tasty. I could eat their Caesar salad every day! The beef Wellington was off the chart delicious as well as the NY. The bread and butter mmmmm. We did the pick a bottle of mystery wine and ended up with a decent cab - fun! Service was impeccable but in the best not stuffy way. It wasn’t our first time there but definitely the best. Now I want more salad 😋 Oh and your happy Birthday message on my to go box - so sweet. Thank you 🙏

This place is a hidden gem. Food is fabulous (we had scallops, risotto, and duck), and so is the service. And for the quality of the food, the prices are very reasonable.

We enjoyed a fantastic meal with excellent wine pairing at a reasonable price point. The owner and staff were very friendly greeting our party and making sure our experience was satisfying. The ambiance was comfortable with our party having no difficulty hearing one another as we conversed. I highly recommend this restaurant and look forward to dining there again.
