We had a spontaneous but wonderful evening at Aliotta Via Firenze. We were in the beach cities area and looking for an Italian meal and this place exceeded our expectations. The staff were the utmost professionals and very welcoming. Chef Mike's passion for his craft is infectious. Most American restaurants would never be as accommodating to their patrons, but Chef Mike offered to make us whatever we wanted if it wasn't on the menu. He brought us a delicious fresh mozzarella and tomato salad which was incredibly satisfying. The menu offerings were definitely geared toward the American palate (e.g. pasta with chicken), but this is a genuine Sicilian establishment so if you want an authentic recipe, he can make it! Mike brought us a customized risotto with fresh vegetables, and pappardelle with sausage and peppers. We capped it off with cannoli and a lemon cake that is to die for. He even has Birra Menabrea, which we enjoyed throughout the evening. Mike's restaurant is the real deal.

Our service was terrible. That is the reason we wont come back. Food was ok. 4 people in party the first 2 dishes that were brought out were cold the 2nd 2 dishes our party said were perfect. Service horrible. Couldn't even get water refilled. Wont go back! Unfortunately, we needed a restaurant half way between So Oc and Woodland Hills thought this might be the place but unfortunately we will keep looking.

Excellent service, delicious food - recommend the Mexican sea bass and the tiramisu Literally finished everything on my plate!

Our Server was Juan and he was great! Very friendly, hospitable, and humorous. Aliotta’s excels in offering classic Italian dishes made with high-quality ingredients and traditional recipes. The menu features a variety of pasta dishes and succulent meat and seafood options, each expertly prepared and bursting with flavor. Standout dishes include the creamy Mushroom soup, Scampi Don Mike, and vitello saltimbocca. The food was fabulous. My true test of an Italian restuarant is how good veal is done. Dinner was fabulous. Also tough to find good Carparcio and Aliotta does a great job. The service is top self and the decor is beautiful

I love this place! I can’t believe it has been here all along and I just found it. Been there 3 times and I just found it about 6 weeks ago. It is the kind of homemade, neighborhood place where you feel welcome and at home. They have a great wine list too.

The service was wonderful at Aliotta's. We were warmly greeted when we entered. All of the servers wished my daughter a happy birthday, as they knew we were there to celebrate her birthday. The staff was very attentive and friendly. The food was delicious. My husband had scallops wrapped in prosciutto. I had shrimp and scallops and my daughter had gnocchi. Everything tasted fresh. The gnocchi was soft and flavorful. We will definitely return to Aliotta's.
