The Castlefield Rooms offer a boutique, out of the ordinary, venue in central Manchester, in a stunning position within a conservation area on the banks of the Bridgewater Canal. With a superb location in Manchester City Centre, near all major transport links, complimentary on site parking and the highest levels of service and cuisine, the Castlefield Rooms are the perfect venue to hold your wedding, corporate event or party. We offer a choice of three contrasting spaces for anything from 25 to 250 guests together with a range of competitively priced event packages. The versatility of the spaces is also reflected in the variety of menus available from the acclaimed kitchens of Albert’s Shed Restaurant and Dukes 92 which are located on the same site as The Castlefield Rooms. Whichever space you decide on you will have our dedicated Events Team on hand to ensure the smooth and efficient running of your event.

Brilliant, best meal ive had in a long time. Service was excellent, particularly Elliott. There when you needed him, didn't mither but didn't have to wait for anything. Swordfish was superb, definitely be back.

We had a great time! The food & cocktails were delicious & looked fab. Everyone enjoyed what they'd ordered. We were lucky enough to have Georja as our server. She was really friendly, polite & attentive-always there when we needed her. We are very grateful. I was surprised by how little the bill was too. Thanks all round. We will definitely be back!

We enjoyed the lunch set menu. Well balanced flavours and reasonable set menu choice to sample Albert Shed dishes. Outdoor covered seating was comfortable and we enjoyed the ambience seated quietly next to the bustling adjacent bar. The weather was great which made the outdoor seating even nicer. Overall I’d happily return and felt refreshed to walk and explore further after hydrating and enjoying a tasty well balanced lunch.

Albert's Shed turned out to be the ideal venue for a lunchtime date. The ambience at Albert's Shed made my date even more romantic and enjoyable. The waiting staff at Albert's Shed were very professional and helpful. Food and drink at Albert's Shed was of the highest quality. Overall, a very memorable and pleasant experience.

We were happy with the service however the food was cold. We werent happy with the experience, planning to never go there again

From the moment we arrived, Harvie took great care of us. Seated us. Quickly took our order. Nothing was too much trouble. He should win employee of the month.

I’ve been going here for years but it’s really changed Used to be a main and two sides now the meal is as it comes but with some you still need a side which of course you pay extra for The wine has increased in price, as it has everywhere. It’s not as it was and not worth the walk from the centre of Manchester.

Ate outside on the covered patio. We had a table of 7 and were told that we would ave to have separate tables, but on arrival the staff had put two tables together which was a nice suprise. A few of our party were late but all the staff were very patient and happy to wait for all guests to arrive and make sure we could order from the lunch menu. Food was delicious and really good size portion for both the main and lunch menu. Thought it was quite good value as well for a Friday afternoon. Service was generally very good. The staff were friendly and managed a table of 7 really well. Couple of mistakes and delays with food orders but nothing that couldn't be sorted easily. It was a bit busy so I understand mistakes can happen. There was also an error on our bill that one of the servers sorted quickly too. Overall, it was a fantastic afternoon and all my family enjoyed it. Would definitely be going back and although a little out the centre, it was a lovely sunny spot and great for a summer afternoon lunch/drinks. Thanks to all the staff for a great afternoon.
