Waiter Jose was a fantastic waiter and the bar staff when i first arrived was pleasant to talk with. The food was delicious you won’t be disappointed if you go.

We had a reservation for 7:00, arrived at 6:40 and were able to be seated right away. Our server Jesus was fantastic! He was polished, efficient, professional but highly personable. He had excellent suggestions for our meals and made sure we had everything that we needed. My husband is a very enthusiastic carnivore and I am a long standing vegetarian. There are many wonderful choices for both of us, and we were able to make substitutions to accommodate our needs. Al Biernet's is our favorite fine dining steak house, and we will continue to return.

Love Al and his restaurant is clearly an extension of the world class gentleman. We come here every time we’re in town and it is always the same- phenomenal! Jesse makes the best dirty martini in the world. Worth it!!

Always great food and service. Steaks and appetizers were great! Cocktails were fantastic. Maybe a little bit too much blue cheese on the steak, but that is a minor complaint. Overall still 5 stars!

We r fans of Al’s restaurant, the Oak Lawn locations especially. He have met him and he is such a warm and loving guy. we r wishing him the best in his journey. Our best friend lived next to door Al and Jeanie.

It’s all FABULOUS and INCREDIBLE! The food, the wine, the staff and the management! Excellent and sophisticated menu with flavors galore! Our favorite place - next to our own place at home in Colorado! Love these folks and this restaurant!

As always - super great dinner - our server’s we’re just a delight - true professionals ! I’m usually in Al’s for business lunches and a few dinners but mainly lunches - the dinner last night was fantastic !

Had the prime rib, tomahawk ribeye, and mushroom side. The meat cuts were very soft and tender, but the flavor was missing.

Excellent Mothers day brunch experience. Attention to detail. Took care of outdoor diners even in a driving rain storm. Eggs Benedict was superb.

We’ve been many times to Al Biernat’s - it’s progressivky getting worse. We waited 25 minutes after our reservation was supposed to be in order to be seated - they obviously overbooked Once we were seated, there was leftover napkins on the seats so they were not properly cleaned. The host & hostess were so unbothered by the poor level of care provided on a Friday night which says a lot about the restaurant.

Night after night Al Biernats does the impossible! They create a welcoming personal atmosphere even though the place is filled to the brim with people celebrating every kind of occasion. The food is perfectly prepared and presented, Old favorites live up to the memories and new things delight. Is it expensive? Yes. Could you do this level of variety and consistent excellence anywhere else? No. The service never disappoints.

Food was amazing. We loved everything we ate. Atmosphere was beautiful. Service was not. The night would have been perfect except for the reason we were there was to celebrate my daughter's graduation from her doctorate program. We noted the celebration on OpenTable, we told the hostess when we arrived, and again as we were being seated. NOT ONE MENTION by anyone at the restaurant. It was ignored by everyone, and to be honest I was shocked. It is commonplace for restaurants to celebrate events with their customers (eg- My mother-in-law got a gorgeous dessert served to her for her birthday at a restaurant that weekend.) DO BETTER.

We came on a BUSY night (SMU graduation weekend) and Al B’s seemed like the most popular place in town that night! We never once felt rushed or pressured to order quickly to turn the table. It was our first time bringing my Dad here for dinner and he was in awe of all the flawless moving parts and how lively the restaurant was. I truly appreciate not ever feeling like we needed to hurry and our server was so kind and patient. We had a great time, the food was great but the service was fantastic. Thanks for another great night!

We had Sergio help us and he was excellent. Yummy food and cocktails as usual. Nice to sit outside if you need less noise for conversation. (But I love being inside too!) always love Al Biernets!

We had a great time celebrating our little man’s first Holy Communion. Everyone, from the valet, to the hostesses, to the whole wait staff were awesome! Such a treat to be able to celebrate at Al Biernat’s!

Overall the food was great! I was a bit taken a back with the way the restaurant treated a birthday ! I’ve had fantastic birthday celebrations at other places ! First time trying a birthday celebration at Al Biernat’s , and was disappointed !

We went as a family to celebrate my dad’s retirement and the service was excellent. We had reservations but arrived early and they had our table ready in a matter of minutes. Everyone was very sweet and attentive.

Al’s is a great place to discuss business. Speaking to customers in a lively setting Conveys youth and excitement IT works. Last night, business was talked, drinks were great. Steak perfect and creamed spinach man that is good. Customer was halibut and delicious he said Caesar salad and coffee, Service , valet, management, flow of dinner was perfect. Al’s continues to be a stalwart because of the team they have.
