I had lamb chops with saffron rice and it was excellent. My partner had the rib eye with blue cheese which was very salty. Starter plate of cheeses, olives and cold meats was nice, although scarcely original. Dessert was a chocolate mousse which we shared. It was outstanding. Overall we had a good time and we will be coming back. Service was poor but maybe we just got the wrong server. We will be trying the paella next time.

Wonderful dining experience, as usual. Service is always attentive, and the food, impeccable. We love the Paella Valenciana, especially, but have enjoyed different tapas and salads over the years. We love it here.

Apartment upstairs and it sounded like a herd of cattle was there. They had 2 different types of music on at the same time. We asked about it and server said oh ya that is the kitchens music. We had Pella and the shrimp where very messy to peel.

I wanted to eat here to check it out for a possible place to bring visitors from the UK when they come later this year. Omer was our server and was fantastic in explaining the offerings and even suggesting that we might not want two tapas with the paella. Perfect! Ambience, staff and of course, taste!

Fantastic meal. The mussels were spot on and the wine advice was perfect. Great service and a top notch professional staff. I felt like I was in Spain! They easily flexed for us as we had a symphony to attend at Safe.

2 of us shared 4 dishes. All of the flavors were excellent; the bread (for soaking up the sauces) was kind of basic in my opinion. I really enjoyed the scallops with cauliflower; grilled balsamic portobello was excellent; loved the garlic wine sauce with the shrimp. I'm not a huge fan of mussels but my husband said they were his favorite and that he wanted to drink the sauce. The service was a little slow at times but staff was very friendly and professional.

This was our second time here and this restaurant is fast becoming my favorite in town. Great service, delicious food (the lava cake was to die for, lots of flavorful chorizo), excellent cocktails and wine. My only complaint is the sangria isn’t very fruity.

Outstanding service. I recommend going at 5pm no crowd but I know this is early for dinner, but that should be ok since if you plan to get Paella it will take 45mins to make. We had 2 appetizers , Paella and dessert to celebrate our Anniversary. It was our first time and will definitely come back :) our server is Maria and she is very attentive and friendly. Highly recommended if you are craving for authentic Paella.

The food and wines are outstanding. Only one complaint. The entree was served too soon. I had just started on my appetizer when the waiter brought out the main course. I felt rushed and the entree got cold before I could get to it. They were both delicious though!

The food was completely and consistently excellent. The soup was wonderful, the shrimp dish perfect, the salmon dish exceptional, and finally the chocolate mousse was the best I ever had. We loved the waiter. We also spent some time talking to the owner, who was very interesting and cordial. We would love to talk to him more and will on our next visit. G and R

If you want to sit around a table and enjoy good food and company, this is the place! This time we had tapas, mostly seafood. Three tapas - plus the fabada soup special - were plenty for two people. We had wine by the glass so we could start with a cava and switch later in the meal. Bottle prices are good, too - but that's more than the two of us could drink. Service is attentive, friendly and fast - and food was up quickly, too.

We had a shrimp appetizer (excellent), Spanish bruschetta (reasonably good), and Valenciana Paella. The Paella was unfortunately short of expectations - still good, very good flavor profile but the cook was off as the soccarat (the crispy rice at the bottom) was a bit overdone and fused to the pan but slightly under the rest of the way through. Some bone fragments in the chicken (it’s a mixed paella with seafood and chicken). Mussels were slightly underdone. I give it a 3/5. Overall a good cook on the Paella would make it a very good value as the pricing is good for this type of a meal. Two people could be well satisfied with an appetizer, a glass of sangria each and a shared Paella for about $100. These days (2024) that’s a good deal.

Aioli Bodega never disappoints. It’s one of our favorite dinner spots. The atmosphere and service are always top notch and the staff make us feel right at home even when they are packed with customers. As long as you have a little patience the experience is wonderful, the food is absolutely fantastic and the experience is one that leaves you ready to return on your next night out! Highly recommend!!

Food was good, but not great. I had the fish special which was halibut. It was under seasoned and undercooked slightly. My wife had the prime rib steak and found it tasty. We got dessert and with whipped cream had no sugar, which may have been intentional, but for her, was missing a little sweetness. The staff was attentive and the owner was obviously aware we had to get to the show, but when our main course was done and bill was paid, appeared to want to hurry up and flip the table so he could seat the next party. He wasn't aware we were waiting for our dessert.

My wife and I were in Sacramento for the weekend, staying in downtown and I asked a friend to recommend a place to eat. We made the reservation and walked to Aioli. we arrived about 10-15 minutes early and it was pretty crowded. We checked in and were told that we probably would have to wait. That was ok with us as we had been driving all day and said we would just walk around the neighborhood and return at the correct time. The owner/matre d offered us a table that had just opened up and we accepted. We ordered from the expansive wine list and started in on some tapas from the menu for appetizers and then more for our dinner. Food was excellent and service fantastic. Highly recommend.

The vibe is cozy and fun, romantic, casual, dressy - whatever you make of it. It’s everything! I love this restaurant and the only “bad” thing I’ll say is the martini I ordered was weak. Tasted great! But I’ve never seen a bartender pour just under a shot of vodka and add a lot of olive juice (dirty ketel one martini) and the glass wasn’t even half full. I felt like I drank delicious olive juice and never felt a thing. No taste of vodka whatsoever. First time I’ve ever seen and experienced that in my adult life. So, the lamest $15 martini is what I had. The food was great and service was wonderful per usual. Been here many times over the last 12 years.
