What a great experience at Agora -Forest Hills ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Five stars! Feels like dining in Greece. Fresh seafood. My family ordered octopus, zucchini chips, Greek salad, crab cake, bronzino, grilled shrimp and lobster pasta.

Agora was great for dinner before a show at Forest Hills stadium. Service was excellent and we got our food and were finished quicker than expected. Food was delicious. My friend and I had appetizers as our main and both had spanakopita ( very large portion for a appt) She also had the hummus and I had the lemon chicken soup. All was very good. Her husband had the crab cake, which also was great.

Agora is the best place to go in Forest Hills/the salads, appetizers,and entrees are always fresh and tasty/ the staff is great. If your attending one of the summer concerts-tell the staff so you can get out of there on time! You might be tempted to stay by their desserts-which are usually included in your meals.

The restaurant always gives a free piece of cake. My waiter hands me the bill without the cake. I had to remind him to get it. He was very inattentive. The food is good but they never change the menu. String beans and lemon potatoes are the only vegetables. Portions are large

Agora is a casual Greek restaurant, but the manager made sure we thoroughly enjoyed our experience. We took my senior parents there, and the manager made sure to be attentive to them, but he went above and beyond when he presented our table of 7 with a complimentary full dessert platter of Greek flans, honeyed yogurt & fruits. Not only was it delicious, but it was generous and really made the evening a delight.

We went to Agora for Valentines Day. The lights were dimmed and the tables strewn with rose petals. They were serving a 3 course prix fixe menu. I ordered the fried calamari, which was the most tender I have ever had, and my husband ordered the Greek salad. Both dishes were large enough for 2 to share and both were delicious. For the entree I had the lamb shank with orzo. The lamb was cooked to perfection and was not gamey at all. My husband, who is leery of trying new things decided to have a taste and he loved it. He had the fried filet of sole and loved that as well. It was served with mixed vegetables and lemon potatoes. Agora’s lemon potatoes are the best. I have not found them to be as good at any other Greek restaurant. For dessert we both ordered the chocolate lava cake which was served with vanilla ice cream. It was delicious. We will definitely be returning here. Agora is a true neighborhood gem.

It was a cold night, so getting a table was easy. Service was very attentive. We had falafel for an appetizer. It was as expected. I ordered the shank of lamb with orzo. It was delicious and filling. A good value for the price. Mynwife had the brozino. She said the fish was good but didn't like the beans. We were provided a dessert on the house. All and all, it was a nice evening. We were not rushed to leave, but the check was brought promptly when requested. I would recommend for a pleasant evening. On a side note, the owner (I believe) was there and engaged us in conversation. I felt that makes it more personable.
