Wonderful service! The entire staff was so attentive and helpful. We had special dinning needs and were accommodated with such professionalism. The food was delightful. The teas were all good as our party shared tasting with each other. Worth the price to have a civilized time.

Maybe it was the time I booked the tea (4 pm, booked 5-6 months out), but it felt rushed compared to the many other times I've been to high tea. But overall, the service was great and the music was wonderful.

Afternoon Tea at the Brown is becoming a Mother's Day tradition with my family, and this team continues to impress us. There were a couple small hiccups that are understandable given how busy they get on holiday weekends. We were given 3 drinks even though we had 4 people, and we were asked a few times what we wanted to order (two different staff members were working our table - being overserved is better than being ignored!), but everything was addressed quickly and totally to our satisfaction. And more importantly, our mothers were happy! We'll certainly be back, kudos to the team.

Hiwat was our server. She was helpful the whole time, staff was amazing all around. It was my daughter & I's 1st tea time . Made it an amazing mommy daughter day ❤️ Jon the piano player, played Disney songs for us while we were there. Didn't even ask him to, so sweet. The blue juniper jasmine tea was most exceptional!! The tasty treats on the 'Royal Palace' menu is exquisite! Great atmosphere. Great man at the front valet very helpful for our car service. Thank you Brown Palace! Can't wait for next time! Thank you again Hiwat, see you soon

Although the tea is pricey, the experience is worth it. It was my niece's birthday and she felt very special when they brought her birthday cupcake and the pianist played Happy Birthday. Service was great.

Table wasn’t in the dining room but off to the side and in traffic so constantly getting bumped. We had a reservation for months prior. Also when the bill came it was split and didn’t say gratuity included so we all double tipped. Some of the food was great but some was not much flavor. Also, no handicap accessible parking/entry. We valeted which we would have likely anyway but then to take our payment for valet they had to go back across the parking lot so we waited for a our credit card back for about 15-20 min with my handicapped mom with no where to sit since it’s a sidewalk.

I have been to Afternoon Tea at the Brown Palace multiple times over the span of many years. This was the first time I felt like I had a really disappointing experience. First of all, it feels like there have been more tables added to the lobby. They’re all too close together now and it takes away from the ambiance. Secondly, this experience didn’t feel like it was made special by the staff. Rather I felt like I was being rushed in and out. Our waitress was rude to my pregnant wife and made her cry when she asked for another plate of sandwiches to go. She told her no quite harshly and slammed our check down rather than just explaining you can only get one additional plate and we had already had ours. Which we had to infer for ourselves. We have had her at tea before and have always found her rude, but this time she took it too far. Lastly, the desserts this time around were not good. The flavors didn’t work. The passion fruit cheesecake tasted like the bubble gum tooth molds they put into your mouth at the dentist. The only reason I have three stars rather than 1 or 2, was the scones were good as always. The piano player was also great.

This was a wonderful Denver experience! We went for Mother's Day afternoon tea, and enjoyed every minute of it. The service was outstanding, and the tea and pastries did not disappoint. Definitely recommend for a special occasion!

We had a fantastic time at afternoon tea. Our servers were fantastic and Forrest was very helpful with the tea selections. We sat near the pianist and he knew all the songs we requested. 10/10 can't wait to comeback!

The tea was great, but the server had floppy sleeves that brushed out food and tea. They were also out of the champagne we ordered but made a suitable replacement.

Always a lovely way to celebrate a birthday. The tea and food are great and the pianist is exceptional (and takes requests). We mentioned it would be our daughter's birthday celebration and they played happy birthday and brought over a lit cupcake to celebrate. Highly recommend

Service was pretty good. Happy staff. I’m not sure if we were supposed to be served tea, but for the price, I would expect it. But we pored our own tea the whole time. The food was not adequate for the price. Tough/stale bread and barely any filling or topper I should call it as we only had one actual sandwich with filler. The sandwiches were just a teeny tiny slice with barely anything on them. Sandwiches are two slices with filling! Super weird if you ask me, so he served what we had. Not enough butter/cream to serve with the scones. Deserts were too sweet and very sickly & rich. Not enjoyable at all. The tea was fairly good though. Price far too extravagant for what you actually get. Unfortunately I will not be recommending if ever returning.

I have been to the Brown Palace for tea a number of times the last couple of years and after my most recent visit will reconsider attending again. The service was good but it was very crowded and the price has increased to 65.00 per person for the basic tea. There is nothing that has been added, improved or increased about this experience that warrants the price increase. The ambience has even changed after Covid. I will look for other options for a tea experience.

Having been to the Brown Palace on multiple occasions, it saddens me to say the experience was so disappointing I would never choose to go back (unless someone invited me, and I was not paying.) Maybe it was a bad day, but the substandard quality on an April Friday afternoon was inexcusable. The finger sandwiches were dry, and the scones and sweets were just okay. We had to ask to get served our tea, since it was not forthcoming even after we were served our food, and then again for accompaniments to the tea. They brought out a birthday cupcake for my guest, which was cold, dry, and topped with an odd-tasting frosting— frankly not worth eating— and I don’t recall ever disliking a cupcake ever in my life. Unless they only bring out their A-game for the winter holiday tea, I can only conclude that the experience has declined dramatically.

We love to have afternoon tea at the brown palace. That said, they have recently adopted a less is just as good attitude. Our tea sandwiches, especially the egg salad, was half the size customarily offered, the teapots have changed and are smaller, and the lemon curd and whipped cream/butter amounts were both less. Sure. One can ask for more but I wonder how many do. Also, the service was not up to par and we were asked if we wanted champagne with our service before we could even sit down. We always order the tea service offering champagne as well, but we’ve had tea there many times and are aware that this service costs $10 additional per person. The unknowing customer would not know this without first an opportunity to view the menu, which we were not. I am hoping this was just an unusual glitch in my experience of having tea at the brown palace, a dining experience I customarily enjoy several times a year. Fingers crossed.

Overall a great experience. My only suggestion would be some additional aspect of the event to incorporate the "Swift-tea" experience other than just playing the music. The piano player/DJ said he purchased some ornaments but they hadn't arrived yet. That would have been great. Or some other addition that would make the event stand out from the normal high tea experience.

We were visiting from out of town and made reservations for tea a month in advance. Everything was great except for the music. It wasn’t until we arrived that we found out it was the first ever Swift Tea. I am not a fan of her music and it would have been nice to have been informed in advance that there was a theme that day, so I could have rescheduled my reservation. I was hoping for the lovely classic piano and/or harp music. Otherwise it was a nice experience and the food was exceptional

Whenever there's a special occasion to celebrate with a friend, afternoon tea at the Brown Palace is always at the top of the list. It's a wonderful excuse to get dressed up, be pampered, have a great time, and enjoy some lovely champagne, tea, and delicious assorted finger foods. The service is impeccable! Friendly, quick, and unobtrusive. After a few familiar songs from the piano, we decided to chat with the pianist, John. What a wonderful man! Witty, pleasant, extremely musically talented, and a joy to talk to. Overall, the experience is a fun way to be treated like royalty.
