Everything was great but when we asked for more sandwiches, they said they could only give 2 plates without charging an additional price more the extra plate. I feel that at the increased price of $65, we should get as many refills on scones and sandwiches that we want!

We received text that our table was ready, but then we had to wait for a table. There were no others waiting and the atrium was not full of diners. They seated us right next to a table that included 2 ladies, one of them talked most all the time. Since there were many table available, I’m not sure why we were seated next to them. Food and tea were nicely presented. Really enjoyed the piano music.

I was charged an extra 10.00 for a vegan meal, we were rushed to finish. It was a special tea, as my granddaughter was turning 21, we have been coming to the Brown for High Tea, 8 years every July, no one was waiting for a table. Let's do the math, $65.00 each for a dried/hard scone, finger sandwiches, and a chocolate dessert. Parking for valet, $20.00. 10.00 extra for vegan, tip on all that and I walked out with paying $200.00 after tipping out the piano player, he played a special request. No more Brown for this girl.

As a party of five, we found it convenient to use valet service and felt the $15 charge on departure was worth it (mention that you are there for tea). We celebrated a birthday, and were delighted with the special attention! We also requested a gluten-free option and were provided with a plate full of beautiful food items that mimicked the main menu for a $10 upcharge. The guarantee that there was no cross contamination made this worthwhile for one of the guests in our party. Overall, we were simply delighted with the hotel's ambiance, the well-trained staff, the service and amount of tea/food, and of course -- the special setting.

$10 up-charge for gluten free on an already overpriced tea service. Although we had a reservation for weeks we got stuck in the walkway behind the piano with people walking all around us. We were virtually ignored toward the end of the tea service. Hotel is nice but wouldn’t waste my money on sub par tea service.

The food was delicious, especially the scones! This was my grand daughter’s 1st time for afternoon te & she loved it! Our server, Forest, was very attentive & so personable! The ambience of the Brown Palace is superb! We had 4 generations celebrating! We had a fantastic afternoon!
