I have the afternoon tea a few times every year and this time the fare was just underwhelming. The plain scone was delicious, but the snickerdoodle was a fail - too close textured. The finger sandwiches were dry and the meat (Reuben) sandwich was 1/3 the size of the normal. Sadly the desserts disappointed all of us with soggy cherry tarts, grainy macaroons and an unpleasing watermelon petit four.

The afternoon is beautifully served by gracious hosts accompanied by outstanding live music. The atrium is stunning and the food delicious. A highlight for any special occasion or just a fancy afternoon out.

Such a beautiful place to enjoy time with friends! Had to remember we only had a set time and they had another reservation so we couldn’t sit and chat. But still wonderful!

Definitely an occasion thing. Most of the cost is for the ambience and experience. The food and tea does not cost $68 per person whatsoever. Quality and the selection of the tea is good, but quality of the food and desserts is definitely subpar for the cost.

We had a fabulous time! Service, food, ambiance were all exactly what we had hoped for! We will be coming back.

The service was slow and impersonal. The finger sandwiches were great, but the scones were very dry unlike in the UK. Macrons and cakes were just so-so. Tea choices limited, but delicious. Very over priced even in the ambience and history of the Brown Palace.

My only issue was contacting someone prior. I was on hold and never got anyone. They keep transferring me and then never called me back when they said give minutes.

I recently planned a bachelorette party at The Brown Palace and was deeply disappointed by the experience. The ambiance was unexpectedly dull, lacking the vibrant and celebratory atmosphere we anticipated. Additionally, the vegan options were subpar, with limited variety and lackluster flavors. Overall, it fell short of the memorable and enjoyable event we had hoped for. It would help to bring some flowers in for a pop of color!

A beautiful venue and wonderful service for my daughter's birthday. Would highly recommend my daughter and I are both Celiac, staff were very accommodating and kind to us.
