Very interesting space and even more interesting food combinations. The cocktails looked quite creative as well. We had mussels, black rice and scallops. That by no means describes the riot of delicious flavors we experienced. Oh, and the beignet for dessert provided a very happy ending. This restaurant is a cut above.

This was our 4th or 5th time at Ada Street. The meal and the cocktails are always outstanding. We were happy but surprised to see it packed on a Tuesday night. There were 7 of us so we had almost everything on the menu and nothing was a disappointment. The only downside for us was the noise level so with a large group, it's difficult to hear someone at the opposite end of the table. A minor inconvenience more than offset by the quality of the meal. We've been to 6 Michelin star restaurants in Chicago and Ada Street ranks right up there with them.

Phenomenal service, eclectic menu and cool vibe. Great stop before any show at The Salt Shed.

Fantastic experience! Great ambiance — the quiet, candle-lit entryway led into a vibrant, lively yet still cozy and intimate dining room. All the food was outstanding, and our server did a great job guiding us through the menu. Lamb ribs were a standout!

I haven’t been to ADA in years. Was looking forward to it. Went with 4 people. The food was delicious, exception being the steak, overcooked and tough. The service was spotty, over 15 minute wait for a cocktail while the rest of the party and other later tables were served. They were out of signature dishes, on a Friday night? I can understand after a busy weekend, but seems funny going into a weekend? Not sure it’s still worth the hype.

We ordered 5 dishes to split between 3 of us and it was more than enough. Everything was delicious and so flavorful. The drink menu is unique and extensive. We’re excited to go back and try more of the food and drinks. The music on vinyl was fantastic. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Wonderful staff. Creative cocktails. Excellent food. A bit loud. But great experience all around and I plan to return.

Started off with a nice Libre Pensee red wine, with a steak tartare appetizer. For entrees Laura had the striped bass which was heavenly and I had the scallops which had a Cajun like presentation which enhanced the taste of the scallops. For dessert we had chocolate ganache which was exceptional.

Returned to ADA St after not eating here for a few years. Everything is still spectacular. Perfect for dinner and drinks before a show at Salt Shed.
