We had the 4 course dinner and every dish was phenomenal. The gnocco frito was amazing as the first course. The trout was very good as well. Flaky and no bones. My husband had the cannolo with basil coulis. That coulis was the star. We will definitely be back.

Some of the best restaurant food in all of St Louis metro area. Service is great. Drink offerings are expansive. A must do! Been in metro area eating at restaurants since 1987.

4th visit to Acero and never disappoints. Food is phenomenal. The wine always compliments. Ambiance is festive but quiet enough for the whole table to be in the conversation. Service is led by the waiter/waitress, but many hands are used to deliver the dining experience.

Excellent food and service. Had the 4 course tasting menu. While the "special" fish was OK, the othercourses were excellent. Only issue might be parking is difficult in downtown Maple wood, Would definitely take friends there.

We had a wonderful time dining at Acero. The food was incredible - tasing menu is a perfect way to try a lot at a great price. Portion sizes were perfect. The atmosphere was nice without being stuffy. The staff was friendly and attentive. We’ll be back for certain.

Ridiculously expensive, and they pulled our candle off the table with 20 people still eating. Total disappointment from what was one of our favorites.

We had a lovely evening sitting outside. Perfect weather! The tasting menu was delicious. My husband loved the scallops and I loved the chicken. Both of our salads were fantastic. I had the gnocco with prosciutto and it was amazing. Desserts were fabulous!!

Incredible food! They have a great 4 course tasting menu for $58, would highly suggest doing that, smaller portions but great selection and a perfect amount of food

The pasta with lamb, ravioli and gnocchi, burrata and tomato soup all were delicious however the beet salad was a bit bland and basic. We ordered the four course tasting menu and portions were very generous and good value. Loved the waiter and his food and wine recommendations. We will continue to go back.

We had a great evening. Acero has delightful atmosphere combining old world and modern elements. We ate on the restaurant side, but there is also a bar side that was buzzing. Our food was scrumptious. We had tuna crudp, gnocco frido, various pastas, and the trout. All the dishes were, like the atmosphere, a combination of traditional and creative, and all highly recommended. Our server did a great job throughout, and we had a chance to meet the owner too who was unassuming and sincerely took an interest in our dining experience.

Outstanding dining experience. Absolutely loved the burrata salad, trout and chicken entrees. Will try the Gnocco Fritto next time for sure.

Starting with our waiter Zurn, it was a wonderful dining experience. He made our visit so enjoyable. We did the tasting menu and I chose the beet salad, egg raviolo, scallops and cheesecake! All the dishes were were beyond our expectations. The Sparking Limoncello went well with our selections. We will definitely go back.

Our table was ready upon arrival. Zurn provided great service, patiently guided us through the menu, offering suggestions and clarifications. The Miste salad is wonderful. Overall, a very nice dining experience if a bit pricey.

This was our first visit to Acero and it certainly won't be our last. We ordered the four course tasting meal. It was outstanding. The choices are great and it is WAY too much food, but the good news is, you can enjoy that delicious food the next day with all that is boxed up and brought home. Our waiter Jake was amazing. He was very attentive but also gave us time to enjoy our cocktails when we first sat down. He did not rush us through our dinner either which was delightful. My only complaint is that it is a very loud restaurant. We had a two top in the back of the restaurant. The next time we are there I will specifially ask for a table in the front. The tables in the front are spread out more and it is a lot quieter. Make sure you make a reservation well ahead of when you want to go there. This place books up, but I understand why. It is scrumptious.

Exquisite food! Service was excellent as well. We will be returning to try more of the menu. Each course was timed perfectly and was enough to not leave you craving more. Overall a great dining experience.

So good we went two nights in a row, ordering different food each time. Four veteran travelers used to great food all agreed Acero’s is on a very short list of best restaurants; not just in St. Louis, but anywhere! Just amazing food, staff and ambience. The high ratings from thousands are real, earned and deserved! Enjoy!

Awesome across the board. Amazing food. Terrific service. (I’ve heard the entire staff is exceptional. Jake in particular is one of the very best in stl.) Lovely, quiet ambiance in a convenient location on Manchester in Maplewood. 5 stars!!!!

We had a delicious four course meal for a group of six people. Everyone loved each and every dish and had such a lovely evening. This restaurant is one of the best overall in town. Excellent service as well!

We love Acero! This is our second time and it was just as good as the first. The tasting menu is the way to go and the food is amazing! Love how they stagger bringing the food so you don’t feel rushed but you’re not waiting too long either. It’s almost an experience to dine here and I love that! I think this might be my favorite restaurant!

When I go out to eat it has to be “food worth eating” and Acero is an experience that should not be missed. The food is incredible and the service was great! One of my most favorite places to dine.
