Date night with my husband…it was the perfect place. Everyone was friendly and helpful from the hostesses, waitress to the bartender. We definitely plan on returning.

Seating, food, and environment was great. Service was not. Took 20 minutes to take food order and main entree did not arrive until 1.5 hours after being seated for a party of 2. First visit was great, this one not so much.

Food was delicious and Abel Brown has an amazing selection for every taste. Best raw oysters in town. The atmosphere was very comfortable and noise level was perfect. Well made drinks.

Once again, a fabulous experience at Abel Brown! When visiting Augusta, this was highly recommended and now I'm back a second time. Delicious specials, fresh oysters, impeccable service with well informed and kind servers. My favorite and only restaurant I'll consider when my business travels bring me this way.

Food, service and staff here are amazing. Fun and great atmosphere. The only problem was a rather rude and loud other guest who decided we all needed to hear everything he had to say which was as mainly about himself!!!

Apps were all very good. The crab cake was really good as was the deviled eggs and the shrimp cocktail. The seared tuna with grits special was great as well. The chocolate croissant bread pudding was the only ok thing we tried and it was good but, not a traditional take, so that is up for personal taste. Was here for the Masters and was so glad we fiund this gem! Will definitely plan on coming back next year to try out more of the menu. The wait staff was attentive and helpful with recommendations.

The food was amazing. We had she crab soup and oysters to start. My husband had a scallop special, they melted in your mouth. I had the chili encrusted tuna special, also amazing. We ended with the chocolate croissant bread pudding and banana chocolate chunk homemade ice cream. We’ve eaten at a lot of fantastic restaurants and this was up there as one of our favorites! Food and service were great!

Everything was incredible. Ordered Prawns and Grits, Arctic Char (special) along with oysters and the chocolate croissant bread pudding. I would recommend all of it. Service might have been the best I’ve ever experienced.

Abel Brown never disappoints!! The food was innovative and the fresh oysters are always a welcomed treat!! Our server/bartender, Brian is a familiar face who we enjoy!! He always remembers us and is so attentive and helpful. We loved one of his recommendations so well, that we bought a case of the wine from the internet. We look forward to our next visit!!

Chose this restaurant for a special birthday celebration as I know it never disappoints. And this time was no exception. The two out-town guests were wowed by their first experience here. One said that she had probably ordered salmon 1000 times…but this was the best she had ever had! Everything was impeccable! Thank you, Abel Brown!

Absolutely wonderful experience from top to bottom. Great service, great, cocktails, and great food. Love this restaurant! Never had a bad dish. The tuna and fish specials were phenomenal.

I was happy to be able to visit my favorite spot again after dealing with some health issues. Our server was the absolute best and very sweet. I tried a mixed selection of oysters. The cheese was a tad bit skimpish on the Rockefeller however I didn't complain. I definitely loved the bacon crusted salmon. This time there's a semi sweet "hoe cake" at the bottom which paired so very well with the other flavors of the salmon, bacon and mustard sauce. Overall, I enjoyed myself.

Anytime, we have a special occasion to celebrate - whether it’s a birthday, anniversary, or just having friends from outside of Georgia visit Abel Brown is always our go to restaurant.
