Great dinner with my daughter and her husband. Our server Delbert was fantastic! I felt like we were in a restaurant in Chicago! So hard to get good seafood in St. Louis. Oysters and everything was great.

food delicious (halibut for my wife and our guest, linguine and shrimp for me) Bear, our waiter, attentive as always Roberto, behind the bar, mixing up great cocktails pleasant atmosphere, and everyone working very friendly GREAT PLACE!

We had a great experience. Robyn was our server and she recommended a couple of drinks for us at the table. For my wife a pretty in pink and for me a Burberry smash forward drink. Both were amazing. She then recommended grilled oysters since I’m not a big fan of oysters and I loved these. My wife got the Chilean sea bass and I got the Lobster Risotto. Both were top notch though both of us were impressed with the texture and flavor of the sea bass. We added the carrots and lobster fried rice. We loved the carrots and enjoyed the fried rice but might not get it again. Overall the food was good but Robyn made the experience top notch.

I had dinner on my birthday. A Monday 5pm reservation. The restaurant was not busy at all. There was one small group of about 7 in the bar for Happy Hour. A little loud, but they left shortly after our arrival. The hostess asked me my age which shocked me because well, that's a bit personal. To be fair she appeared pretty young and most likely doesn't know this is a bit off putting. Onto the food. SPECTACULAR!! We moved to a booth in the bar to get the Happy Hour prices for apps and drinks. Shrimp cocktail. Great. Red blend, and House margarita-reasonable prices and very good. The meal was hands down FANTASTIC!! Halibut for me and the lobster fried rice (not much lobster to be found-but tasty) and Brussel Sprouts. They gave me a free birthday dessert which was Hazelnut something topped with salted caramel. ALL of it was great. The service was good. Again, this was Monday, and it was less than 25 dinners in the entire place. Excellent all the way around. My first time going and will absolutely return. 5 stars for all of it.

The ambiance of the restaurant was quite nice, however the food is lacking especially for the price. My steak was overcooked twice. The lobster Mac & cheese has very little lobster & is more stringy than creamy (almost like they use pre-shredded cheese). My mule mocktail tasted like a watered down Shirley temple. While waiting for my steak to be recooked we were offered shrimp cocktail which was nice, however we were not warned that the cocktail sauce has a spicy kick (almost like wasabi). Would not go back by choice. Too expensive for this many issues.

Excellent food and experience. We recommend the Halibut and Sea Bass. Spanish octopus was quite good as well.

An awesome experience from start to finish! I took my pescetarian fiancé to 801 Fish for his birthday dinner, and we were both impressed with everything we ordered. The craft cocktails were outstanding, and the shrimp cocktail and crab cake appetizers were even better than we expected. For our main entrees, the lobster risotto and linguini with clams didn't disappoint. While the environment was busy, the ambiance was perfect for a date night, with nice lighting and decor, friendly and knowledgeable staff, and fabulous choices on the menu. We hope to return soon!
