I ordered the prime rib and it was cooked exactly how I ordered it. It was probably one of the best prime ribs I have ever eaten. The waitress was excellent she did a great job. First time eating there Would definitely be returning and will recommend to my friends.

We had a wonderful dinner. Our server Trent was amazing and helpful. Both steaks were cooked perfectly. The scallops were also amazing. We always go to a 801 restaurant when we are in town.

Mike made the evening with my son at dinner a wonderful experience. He made a great wine suggestion and was there when he needed to be. The place was hopping last night and we still had a very timely and enjoyable dinner.

Service from waiter very slow...the food came slowly and out of 4 dining...2 had food at room temperature and 1 had to send back... 801 is off my list as this is 2 times out of the last 4 visits..food and service below average and cost not worth it

The food was outstanding . Wife had the prime rib . She said it was best she ever had . I tasted it and she wasn’t wrong . My strip steak was delicious. The entire staff was so accommodating . It was an incredible experience. Definitely recommend trying this place

I had the petite filet, Brussels sprouts, broccoli. Mash potatoes with the Boursin cheese and the vanilla bean crème brûlée. I would not order the broccoli again but everything else was fantastic! The steak was cooked to perfection and the cheesecake was perfect end to a great dinner. I could only have one drink as I was driving so I drank a White Lotus very good also!!

Wow! We were so blown away with our food and service. I made the reservation and mentioned online it was for a 27th birthday. And the restaurant took to it to even add at the top of the menus in green writing- Happy 27th birthday! I thought it was so cute and my partner was so surprised and incredibly happy with our entire meal. Thank you again! Dianna was a wonderful waitress.

We had a great experience. We were seated in a private room (table for 5) which had a nice TV. It just so happened that an NCAA women’s basketball game was on which we enjoyed as we dined on delicious appetizers, salads and steak. It was a great time all around. We have been here several times when visit from Dallas & always enjoy 801 Chophouse.

801 Chop does it right. Clean. Professional. Phenomenal food. The only critique would be that the lighting could have been a little brighter, but that is the only critique. If you want to take someone special to you somewhere.. 801 Chophouse is definitely a choice you won't regret.

We arrived Easter Sunday at 12:45 for a 1:00 reservation and were told they weren't open yet and we would need to wait outside. Seriously? Granted, they don't normally open until 4:00 but still. It's not like we showed up at Noon, and the place should've expected some folks to arrive early. And we weren't the only ones waiting. Fortunately, it was a nice day so we didn't have to sit outside in the rain. Not an auspicious start. When we were finally seated, our waitress asked if we were okay with tap water or if we'd prefer some bottled, sparkling variety. I was left with the impression of a place that tries a little too hard. Apparently all side dishes are family style and single portions aren't possible? Why not? $13 worth of sauteed spinach was a bit much for two people but we took the leftovers home. Food and service were both very good but for these prices--$160+ for a salmon entree, a NY strip, a (big) side dish, two coffees and a shared dessert--I wouldn't expect anything less. Good for a special occasion but not an every day place.

This was our first time here and it was very good. We got there early from church and didn’t realize they didn’t open until 1:00 which was when our reservation was. We were able to sit outside in the patio area for about 30 minutes until they opened. Wish we could have sat at the bar and had a cocktail.

I love this restaurant the best steak dry aged ribeye I’ve ever had loved the grilled broccolini every thing was absolutely perfect can’t wait to go back

The food, of course, was spectacular. We couldn’t decide what to get so we asked our waiter Tim to have all the steaks steaks served on one platter so we could each try a little of each one. The presentation was fantastic and we were so happy to be able to try different cuts and aging styles. Steak Tartare and Tuna Tartare were out of this world and the deconstructed ice cream sandwich for dessert finished the evening off perfectly!

My filet was excellent. My husband’s prime rib was smaller than expected but tasty. The French Onion soup was only lukewarm and not up to past standards. The chocolate soufflé was outstanding. Our server Angela was attentive.

Excellent service. Food was amazing. One of the best steaks we have had. Cooked perfectly. Waitress (Marcia?) was knowledgeable and provided top notch service. We will definitely be back.

Overpriced. Lobster tail, lamb chops, 2 sides and waters for over $200. Was a nice dinner for special occasion but won’t be going back.

Third time we have eaten here since January. We have always had wonderful experiences. Tonight: was not a great experience. Our medium filets: my wife’s was practically burnt outside and definitely med well inside. Mine was crusty outside and definitely rare inside. Scalloped potatoes were either overcooked or leftover from the previous day. We should have sent everything back…but with our argumentative server…we just wanted to eat and leave at that point. Again, we have always had great experiences here. Tonight they missed the mark. This is a way too high caliber and high priced place to under deliver like they did on this visit. Food, service, and experience 0 for 3.

Stopped in to celebrate my husband’s birthday. This was our first time at this restaurant. The restaurant was just fabulous and treated us like we were regular diners. The food was cooked as requested and tasted spectacular. Positive we will return when in the St Louis area!

801 Chpohouse I would highly recommend! Had the Tuna Tartare for an appetizer! Absolutely Amazing! Best Steak I have had in a while. Dry Aged Porterhouse was cooked to perfection finished with Black Truffle Butter! Service was as amazing and I also recommend you try the Soufflés for dessert! Will definitely be back in the future!
