This place is amazing, a hidden gem. Everything from the moment you walk in is A plus! Service is excellent, our waiter explained the different menu items and gave great suggestions on wine. The food, there aren’t enough words, it’s art crafted on your plate, that is not only visually appealing, but tastes so good! The true diamond in this establishment is the bartender, I think he’s one of the best in MA, he’s truly gifted at his craft! I think one of the reasons I really enjoy my experience here is because there are no TV’s and no loud music. It is truly a place you can go and enjoy a nice dinner without the distraction!!!

The menu is inventive! The attention to detail and use of local ingredients is wonderful! We always enjoy our time at 80 Thoreau!!

Our group of six had a variety of menu items and all of them were delicious including the roasted lamb, sea bass and salmon.

Wonderful food, served in a quiet and elegant atmosphere by attentive but not intrusive wait staff. Food was perfectly cooked and interesting but not over-the-top nouvelle. The little glasses of champagne we were given to celebrate our anniversary were an unexpected treat. Highly recommend for an elegant dinner.

We look forward to the Asparagus menu every year. They did not disappoint. A beautiful and delicious 4-course dinner w grapefruit cocktail and fine Chateau Neuf-du-Pape chosen by Andrew.

Have dined here many times and went last night for the asparagus tasting menu. Very impressed with the quality of the food and the value of this meal. A nice portion of striped bass, less of the lamb, but just wonderful fresh flavors throughout. All four courses were well-conceived and perfectly executed, including dessert. We added a serving of the parsnip-date ice cream because it sounded so interesting, and it was positively delicious. Flawless service and calm atmosphere. Exactly the kind of relaxing dinner experience we wanted.
