Please join us at 740 Front in Historic Downtown Louisville. Designated historical, 740 is one of Colorado's two oldest remaining saloons; transformed back to its 1904 roots; a traditional American dining saloon with a turn of the century ambiance featuring a magnificent room dominating bar, built in 1880 by the Brunswick Company,. The copper spit trough, once equipped with running water, still exists at the front of the bar. Louisville, notorious for its drinking, gambling, and illegal activities, evidence of the occasional misunderstanding is the .22 caliber bullet hole in the front bar.
The bar offers a selection of craft beers, wines, handcrafted cocktails and an extensive craft bourbon selection.

I absolutely love 740 Front Street. The food and service are always outstanding. It is on the pricier side, but you get what you pay for. It has an amazing ambiance and is located in a very convenient location.

We went here on a date night. We had a wonderful experience for our first time being there. The food and service were amazing!

Food and drinks were amazing! One of the better steaks I have had in a while and the pork chop was great. Finished off with crème brûlée, so good. Blackberry Mohito was great.

Friendly place. Waitress was scarce. Food portions were medium size for price. We felt it was a bit expensive based on portions sizes.

In town on business and got a table for one. Food was excellent as always, but the service wasn't what I am accustomed to at 740. My waiter seemed to forget I was there, although it was a slow evening. Had to bug the hostess and bartender a couple of times to get any attention. The general attitude wasn't real welcoming.

This place is great and the food is delicious. We went there to have the exact same dish a couple weeks in a row. Highly recommend for a special occasion or a date night.

Talon was our server and was very attentive. Drinks and food were served promptly and timely. old Fashioned was spot on. Everyone enjoyed their food. Short Ribs were a little dry, but flavor was there.

I enjoyed dinner here! Service and ambiance were excellent. The food tasted good, but the pork chop and short rib were dry. Cherry pie was very good. The meatloaf was excellent.

Food was delicious and loved the decor. The bar was gorgeous, from mid 1800’s. Will definitely go again. This was our first time. We went for our anniversary. Tyler our server was a delight. He made it a very special experience.
