Best Happy Hour in Norfolk seven days a week at the bar and lounge till 6pm. Our heated patio is a great place to enjoy a drink and take in the downtown scene. Located next door to The Scope arena and Chrysler Hall, we are the perfect place to enjoy dinner before going to a show.

Was a great visit start yo finish, parking attendant was friendly and helpful, hostess was great seated us at our favorite table as requested - our sever did a fine job, did not miss a beat and everything came as requested and at our pace. We have enjoyed 456 almost since it opened. We don't come as often as we did, but it is definitely one of our "go to" restaurants. The food is always great as is the service. They accomodated my request for a corner booth, but when my wife deferred, we were seated at her choice. My only suggestion to them would be to revert to their original calamari. The previous version was crispier, the new one has a little cheese in the coating. The previous sauces were better as well. Used to be the best in Tidewater, which is what we were hoping for. Nonetheless it was delicious and there was LOTS of it.

Calamari appetizer wasn’t good. Very chewy & tasted frozen. Soft shell crabs were amazing but the sides, saffron rice was very dry and green beans were just okay and lacked seasoning.

This was our second time here, grabbing a bite before a concert at Chrysler Hall. It was very busy. Despite that, the service was attentive and friendly. Our food came out a bit later than expected but not too bad. The portions seemed smaller than last time but still ok and the food was tasty. We’ll be back for sure 😁

What a wonderful restaurant in downtown Norfolk....it has excellent service, good food, pleasant ambience, great for conversation and a terrific place to eat prior to an evening's theater event...they recognize the importance of timeliness when one has theater plans. The hostesses are always very pleasant and accommodating as well.

Great as always! 456 never disappoints. This is our favorite spot to dine when attending anything at Chrysler or Scope.

Mediocre. Mussels were very bland. Scallop carbonara was swimming in a broken sauce. Scallops were tasty though. We asked for lobster mac and cheese without lobster for my daughter. They still charged us the full price. Service was very so so.

Angela was great! Our enteees took awhile to come out, but it was worth the wait. Everyone enjoyed their entrees. The owner comped deserts for everyone to compensate for the wait. I'd go back!
