The only issue we encountered was that Lime BBQ sauce used on a salad was a bit too spicy.

According to the menu, a mimosa and Bloody Mary bar was included. Both my wife and I ordered mimosas. She ultimately had a second (being Mother’s Day and all). When the bill came we were charged for two mimosas. I asked our waitress about it and showed her the menu. She said that she thought it was a misprint but she would ask her manager. Kristen, the manager, came over and said it was a misunderstanding on my part and that only one mimosa was included for the mom. At this point, it would have been the end of the story, however…… Kristen then asked if we booked through OpenTable. When I said “yes” she asked if I write reviews and proceeded to say:”we would appreciate it if you would go on and give us an excellent review. Just don’t include the mimosa issue.” Now that’s some gumption!! Some would even say rude! Completely soured our visit!

I thought the food was good and the staff was very nice, but I left pretty underwhelmed for $45 per person. The Mother's Day menu was misleading showing it includes a mimosa and bloody mary bar, but those actually aren't included and you have to pay additional per drink. The price would make sense if it included all drinks, but without it seems extremely overpriced compared to other options in the area. Overall, it was a good brunch but I would never go back for the price.

Nice atmosphere with views of city. Food was excellent. Hot and tasty. Served canned beer with glass felt upscale. Waitress was very nice. Paper menus felt cheap. Seemed like every service took awhile to receive what we ordered. 1.5 hours to finish dinner even though there were empty tables, but also only 1 server for our side of the room. Ended up being rushed to finish dinner to see play but waiter boxed up to cheesecake to go. We enjoyed the dinner, but it could have been better.

This dining experience was great. Not very busy so a very relaxing atmosphere. Food was excellent and service was great! Liked the fact you can bring your own wine for a low corkage fee.

They were busy for an event at the Powerhouse so I can understand being slightly behind. However, we stood for 10 minutes before even being seated/spoken to. Then we sat for another 15 minutes before our server came to talk to us. No “how are you tonight”, etc. just immediately wanted to take our order. We ordered and got the wings to split, they were very small but still tasted okay. We got our entrees, my boyfriend ordered the burger mid rare and it came out mid well, and couldn’t flag down anyone to have it fixed. I got the chicken tacos and those were really good. We went the entire meal without our server checking on us once, never got refills on drinks, and only saw her when she brought us the bill. Again, I understand being busy due to an event, but we were practically ignored for most of our experience and it was very upsetting.

Heard good things about it so thought we would try it out. Did not get talk to or see anyone in the first 10 mintues of waiting at the servers desk. Got to our table by 615 with a 6 o'clock reservation. We decided to eat light as it was a limited menu with wings and a salad. We ordered our drinks and food at the same time food should up before the drink did 30mintues later! Server apologized and got them right away and wipe the drink off the bill. No one came while we ate to ever ask if we wanted another drink or needed anything else till the asked we were done. Original waitress only took our order and gave us our bill did nothing else. I sure hone this was and off night ask I totally did not expect that big of a disappointment!!!

Outstanding service; fresh delicious Easter Brunch; We were greeted immediately upon arriving by the manager. Our server was friendly and professional and on point. The chef /food attendants also greeted us. The venue was classy and clean. ~I rate our experience an A+. ~We look forward to returning next Easter, and several times in between!

Food was amazing. Waitresses was really nice and on point to always make sure we were doing okay. It is a little pricey but it was our first time there so it was worth the experience. Would definitely recommend if you have extra funds.

From the minute we walked off the elevator to when we left, we had a great experience! The service was top notch, the food and drinks were wonderful! The views were amazing of the city! The employees were very friendly and kind! Will definitely be back!

350 First - DoubleTree by Hilton | Cedar Rapids, Iowa I haven’t been here in nearly 5 years and it’s honestly a shame! I’m also shocked there aren’t more posts about it. The food was absolutely outstanding. My Beef Short Rib was juicy and seasoned just right. The carrots were perfectly cooked with a hint of crispness. A tad pricey, but well worth it IMO. Cajun chicken was good as well. Drinks were spot on. The French 75 was strong as it should be and I had a drink special that was basically a whiskey sour with soda water. Very good indeed. The view is KILLER. My wife will post some of her sunset pictures in the comments. Service was outstanding. The menu is great in that there is a $17 burger, but also some pricier “cheffy” stuff.

Dine here almost every holiday. The courses meals offered are hands down the best in town. The everyday menu isn't too shabby either. Good happy hour too

We did a couples valentines day dinner. Had a wonderful dinner. Food was outstanding. Service was awesome. Loved the atmosphere. We will certainly return and would highly recommend.

After dining at 350 on First many times I have to say this was the worst dining experience ever. Got in on time per my reservation and it went down hill from there. My food arrived and my med rare filet was well done, the broccolini was so so and the smashed red potatoes were stone cold. My waitress asked how everything was and I told her. She took the plate back and brought another waitress brought another one back. Steak was finally correct but everything else was still cold. When she took my plate she also took my silverware. Another person brought my second plate back placed it in front of me and took off and then I sat with no silverware. I had to literally flag down my waitress to get a fork and knife. The wine was not a quality wine and when I finally said give me a to go box and my bill she said I comped your glass of wine. I just looked at her, really comped a cheap glass of wine for an $80.00 meal I could not eat? This is not at all the quality or service I expect from a Hilton establishment! Totally disappointed!

I was so excited to take my husband to 350 First for his birthday. The waitress was nice and it was not her fault. The food was terrible. It was the worst I've had in Cedar Rapids. I ordered a Salmon Ceasar Salad and it was brought out on a bed of butter lettuce and the salmon was dry. I sent it back and declined anything else. My daughter's chicken sandwich was not properly cooked. We did not enjoy the food at all. I ordered two lemon drops and they were good. I would not go back to 350 1st.

Disappointed in the very limited menu. A couple months ago i had a pork tenderloin sandwich & sweet potato fries, it was delicious, I was hoping to get that again. Order the hamburger this visit, it was ok. Drinks were good and the dessert cookie was awesome!

I wish I could say so much more about 350 First. You would expect with it being right downtown at the top of a higher end hotel, that it would have a higher level of service, food, etc. our service was extremely poor, slow, and inattentive. Took 20 minutes or more to get drinks after we first sat down. Food was delivered without service to eat, and we had ti ask multiple times as it was getting cold, for silverware. The fried chicken sandwich was very dry and hard and the bun was stale and hard. It was quiet and of course the views are good but just wish the service and food matched. Ambience was so, so.

We made a 5:00 reservation thru Open Table but upon arrival we were told we didn't have a reservation but they were able to accommodate us still with a window table as requested for our anniversary. Food was excellent. Service above & beyond.

The food was was over priced for the quality. I just could have easily spent LESS for the same quality at hipster or goldfinch or black sheep. Our server got me the wrong wine, forgot our Brussels. No croutons on the salad.. I just feel like if prices are going to be that much then the service should be great and the food spectacular

Wait staff was horrible. It was like it was her first day. Had to send steak back that was overdone and brought to table while still eating salad. Manager stepped in to fix, but was very unprofessional in her vernacular with swearing. Did not feel appropriate to slam the cooks for being men and not being able to cook. Also was sat next to a very loud birthday party who where swearing and very disruptive to dining experience. Lights were very bright which destroyed atmosphere.

Solid Choice in Cedar Rapids. The food quality is good, however the menu is somewhat limited, but generally has something for most tastes. Ambience can be somewhat hit as miss. Despite the restaurant trying to push a more upscale vibe, this is a hotel restaurant so clientele can range from more formally-dressed concert/event goers to hotel guests in t-shirts and jeans. The layout is very open with a bar situated in the middle, meaning there is little-to-no sound damping in place. This can drastically vary the ambient noise level depending on the mix of clientele and how busy the bar is during your visit.

Really enjoyed our dinner; salmon, polenta and kale. It was delicious and service was great. We appreciated the quick turnaround as we were going to the symphony concert following dinner.

Not food allergy friendly, The waitress was a bit rude when we questioned her about an item on the menu and what that was in it. When she told us about that, one item consisted of we told her that I was allergic to it. She replied rudely. "Why don't you just order a salad." Which we ended up doing. Needless to say that we left hungry. $35 dollars for 2 small salds..Won't go there again.

Not a ton of options as far as starters but the cheese brûlée we decided on was delicious and we tried 4 of their specialty drinks that were tasty and got the job done. Our waitress was fun, attentive and kind. Would definitely go here again and try an entree! Perfect for date night and a beautiful view at night!

The menu was limited with a lot of burgers, but the cajun pasta and filet were very good. And they did manage to get the "rare" correct in doing the filet. Portions were "right sized" and nobody was having to take a go home box as we were on our way to Theater afterwards!
