Welcome to the 1920 Tavern. A speak-easy style restaurant and pub in downtown Roswell that features a globally-inspired cuisine. The quaint, casual restaurant in Roswell, GA offers a sophisticated mix of cocktails and spirits along with their impressive dishes great for brunch, lunch, and dinner. 1920 Tavern’s refined but approachable cuisine showcases an array of fresh greens, savory starters, market-fresh seafood, and enchanting entrees.

Inspired by the sophistication and the playfulness of the “speakeasy” style, 1920 Tavern’s walls are lined with antique mirrors, crystal accents and globe lighting that provides a natural ambiance which makes it one of the best pubs in Roswell. Dark brown wood and leather banquettes with a contrast of diamond-shaped white tiles beneath the beautifully suspended light pendants that hang over the bar and dining area. The newly constructed bar offers a comfortable space to watch the bartenders create your favorite beverages.

It was my first time here, I wish when I booked the reservations it would’ve given me the option of inside or outside, but it did not. We sat at our reserved table, which was inside because the wait was too long for outside. Our waitress was awesome, food was scrumptious, - - the only negative was that it was really loud inside and we were almost screaming to talk.

We ordered an appetizer and before we could finish half of our appetizer, our main course showed up it felt like we were being rushed at all times, which is not a typical experience for us at 1920. I hope next time that that’s not the case.

The hostess was very pleasant and let us choose our table. We selected an out side table next to the sidewalk which was very nice. If you are a people watcher, which we are it was perfect. Right in the heart of downtown Roswell in the square. Neat cars, motorcycles, wedding parties, prom goers, dogs, babies and a nice breeze to add to it. Waiter was great. The other servers and food runners did their job which made everything wonderful. Thanks 1920 Tavern

I love 1920… my favorite “go to” spot on Canton Street. Very vibrant, great food and service and highly involved owners. Try the lamb chops… consistently excellent!

Drinks were really good (especially the old fashioned variety), twin petite filets were scrumptious and the sides included were great. Recommend that dish and also the pimento cheese starter dip. Note: it was very loud that night, lots of birthday parties. But the owner was very kind to come around and check on us and apologize for the noise, even though it was not her fault of course.

Never had a bad meal here service was so good - they ran out of blue cheese olives - the waiter stuffed more himself- food is outstanding

Our waitress Liz was great, food was very good, had crab cakes, oysters, short ribs and beef tenderloin. Will definitely go back.

From a food perspective, past two visits not up to standard we have come to expect. Drinks were great though.

Excellent service. Food except steak was overdone. Steak was not high quality. Even cooked properly, it was somewhat tough . Somethings changed since last here and not for the better. We will not return!
