The experience was ok. Service was slow and almost dismissive, sure we are sort of used to less than pleasant service in Paris restaurants, long wait between checks from the waiter for water, wine, etc. food was ok and.. good wine selection, great location and good ambiance.

I don't usually write reviews but I thought I should this time. While the food was really nice, I thought the service was very poor. I understand that it's difficult to accommodate customers when it's busy, but we waited almost an hour to have our drink and food orders taken. Our waiter did not really acknowledge our table at all until I asked them if they could take our orders an hour in. Most of the time in the restaurant we spent waiting - we were in there nearly four hours. What I also noticed was that other people, who arrived after us, were being served far more quickly than us and leaving the restaurant before us. I started to wonder whether it was because we were English that we weren't being served. I enjoyed my night thanks to the food, but I felt unwelcome and almost like a burden which I don't think is right.

Lovely meal although I wouldn't rave about it being top drawer. It was nice, service was good and the cost was as expected. They do have a problem with Open Table reservations though as, like other reviews, they never had my booking on arrival but fortunately it wasn't busy and we got seated.

We ate here on Sunday and it was okay. Near our hotel so that was a plus. Our reservation was for 7 and they clearly had us in their system. Fast forward to today and a second reservation. The OpenTable app clearly said we had a reservation for 7.15. However when we arrived, they claimed that they weren’t on OpenTable and then that they hadn’t received the booking. Even when I showed them the app, the guy on the desk just shrugged. The restaurant was quite full by 7.15 and I fully believe they bumped our reservation. So on that basis, I’d say don’t bother making a reservation for this arrogant place. If you walk two minutes from it, you will find some much more interesting places to spend your dollars - which we did.

Eigentlich ein sehr nettes Lokal... aber: die Geschäftsleitung setzt wohl hier die falschen Priotitäten: ein Herr, der den ganzen Abend herumläuft ohne tatsächlich da zu helfen, wo es nötig ist, und auf der anderen Seite völlig überlastete und zu wenige Kellner. Die übrigens sehr nett und sehr bemüht waren, aber es war ihnen schlichtweg nicht möglich, zu zweit ein fast voll besetztes Lokal zu bedienen. Bei uns führte es dazu, dass wir erstmal 15 Minuten warteten, bevor wir das erste Mal bedient wurden (hätten wir unseren Apéritif sofort bestellen können und bekommen, wäre das überhaupt kein Problem gewesen). Und dann kamen innerhalb von 10 Minuten Apéritif, Essen und die Flasche Wein... Unmöglich! Doch man muss fairerweise sagen, dass das Lokal sehr nett eingerichtet ist, die Athmosphäre angenehm und das Essen sehr lecker. Wir würden noch einen Versuch wagen

I made a reservation and was not acknowledged nor sat until 30 mins after. We requested a non smoking table and was sat in the smoking area. A server never came to take our order which resulting in us leaving. Terrible service and experience.

French dip, salad, chips and Bellini were all wonderful as well as our server. But… they did not honor the reservation. Said it’s a ‘request’ not a reservation even though we had a confirmation. And they don’t take reservations for parties of 4. Should not allow people to use Open Table then. Luckily the wait was only 20 min.

Loved it so much !! We made a reservation at 7pm Sunday when the restaurant was pretty empty - what a stunning space and reasonably priced delicious food!! I will for sure come back again if I am in Paris.

The restaurant takes you back to the days of la vieux Paris and is gorgeous, just what a Parisian brasserie should look like. The menu is filled with the wonderful, traditional French dishes, huitres, canard, tartare, confit, creme brûlée, nicely prepared and presented. The tables are a bit too close for my taste in this Age of COVID and by 9 pm the noise is so unbearable we had to escape without that yummy creme brûlée.

Service was pompous and unhelpful. We were seated in the “quiet” part of the restaurant initially which was by the host stand which was not quiet and the traffic was constant. We asked to be reseated in the back which they did begrudgingly. The 100 day chicken was terrible, filet of beef was marginal. Croquettes of salt cod and potato and cocktails CAC40 were the only redeeming parts of the experience. I don’t understand why service and kindness are so difficult to provide.

Very good service and food was amazing. Was very busy as it was Valentine’s Day but it was very enjoyable.

The dinner and the location were great, unfortunately the Restaurant told us that they didn’t receive the reservation through Opentable...quite strange but they had an available table the same!

Arrogant and pompous staff and management. Service horrendously slow. Obvious bias against all English speakers. They make you shell prawn cocktails yourself. A waitress set off a huge fireball making a desert for another table that singed my hair. Management’s response was to call me a liar. If I wasn’t leaving the next day would’ve hired an attorney. Many better places in Paris.
